Inner Journey Out

by Psychic Ills

lspaceman3 The band's finest album to date. A def must for any fan of Psych rock with a little country, blues and gospel thrown in the mix. Hope Sandoval does guest vocals in the song "I don't mind". The album closer "fade me out" is very eerie.
RIP Tres. Another great talent taken from us too soon this year. Favorite track: Coca-Cola Blues.

Levrikon Sun baked hippie-folk. Not as psychedelic as their previous albums, just gentle and lovely shimmering desert sound. The sound of a commune at the end of time. Favorite track: Mixed Up Mind.

about

The seekers in New York City’s Psychic Ills have spent more than a decade following their muse wherever it takes them. Inner Journey Out, the band’s highly anticipated fifth album and first since 2013, is the culmination of an odyssey of three years of writing, traversing the psych-rock landscape they’ve carved throughout their career and taking inspired pilgrimages into country, blues, gospel, and jazz.
